Diego Tertuliano

I'm Diego, CTO at Ritua. I specialize in building highly scalable data platforms and ML systems.

Previously, I was a founding engineer at Salespeak.ai, where I built the company's backend and AI architecture. Before that, I led the Core & Infrastructure teams at DataMilk. At Wildlife Studios, one of the top 10 mobile gaming companies globally, I worked on platform engineering and data infrastructure for petabyte-scale datasets. At VTEX, I joined early — around 50 engineers, second on the data team — and grew with the company through its IPO to over 1,500 employees.

I hold a Master's in Machine Learning and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from UFRJ. As part of my applied research at EuroFlow, I developed a machine learning decision support system for the differential diagnosis of lymphomas, which is now used by over 2,000 hospitals.

I'm based in Rio de Janeiro, where I spend my time outside of work climbing and mountaineering.
